Hi, i ate in Cafe Du Centre when i was over in Switzerland in April this year, as Champery goes this is one of the higher end more pricey resturants but still good value for money. I had the monkfish with tiger prawns on lemon grass which where to die for, i strongly recomend Cafe Du Centre for anyone willing to try the Asian style cusine. Look forward to returning to Champery this summer for Switzerland's mountain biking scene that seams to be growing every year. Cheers

Christmas holiday spent in Champerey at Chalet Jade - from 22nd to 29th December 2007.

Bad start in that the flight was delayed from Luton, but we arrived safe and sound anyway!

The chalet is lovely, the location is lovely, the service and food were splendid and the snow was excellent.

We did a trip over the mountains on skis from Champery to Champousin one day, and on another day a trip from Champery to Morgins - neither day was without its drama, but with a bunch of beginners on the slopes that was hardly surprising!!

We did a trip to the thermal baths, not quite sure where they were, but unfortunately the whole of Switzerland seemed to be doing the same, and the queue was rather long, so we passed on that one and had a cup of coffee in the hotel next door instead, and did a diversion via Lake Geneva on the way back to add to the photo count.

On our return to the airport we took the train, down the valley to Aigle and then on to Geneva - it is a very scenic trip, and of course, very "swiss-efficient" with all trains absolutely on time!

All in all, no complaints, no problems, all of the Adventure 24 staff were very attentive, very efficient and very nice.

Many thanks Sam and Andy.

We shall be back !!!

Well, just got back from our Adventure 24 Christmas Holiday - on Thursday evening we went to the Auberge de Grand Paradie for apres ski, sledging and dinner.

It was a really good evening, there were 10 of us. the owners were very friendly, the food was good, with something a bit different on the menu (Ostrich) and all in all everybody enjoyed the evening a lot.

The sledging was interesting I have to say - with a few tumbles, but a lot of laughs.

The location of Grand Paradie is perfect for apres ski and not too far from the village as well.

Restaurant Auberge De Grand Paradie is the one we are going to when we are over I believe. I can do a review after our evening there.

They all sound good though!

Hi,
Thanks for your question, yes it has been snowing this afternoon. The pisets in Champery are open, with the intent to open the whole Porte de Soleil region on the 8th of December.
